About Dougall /Wildman/Rossiter/Ogilvie Family
Please sign in to see more. We chose Dave's and my grandparents as the four main branches of our family tree but it has taken on a life of its own. My aim is to try and discover all the ancestors for Elizabeth Maqueda, Jimmy-James, Evie Indigo, Fox Oliver, Amy and Mark and for all the little ones of their generation. I have many gaps in my information and would be very happy if you would send it to me via e-mail. Thanks for all the info and photos that have already been sent. (I am EJW, Elizabeth Jean Wildman born Rossiter married to David Anthony Wildman, living in Canada.)
Jules (Julian Breytenbach Rossiter) passed away peacefully at almost 98. Up till about 96 he was still teaching occupational therapy to the oldies at his retirement village. A few years ago he made his great grandchildren an inkle loom. Evie loves weaving! They all find it fascinating and the first thing they do on visiting is rush around to all the spinning wheels and give them a twirl.
Aunty Honey (Florence), Julian's "baby sister" who lives in Australia has recently turned 96. She did the original family tree research when it was much more difficult and involved a great deal of foot slogging and letter writing. Check your own family details on our site - it is a piece of cake to print various interesting charts and information.
Photos make the site come alive. Please send in both old and recent ones and delve into those tucked away boxes to find other treasures such as marriage invitations or old postcards. Photos don't have to be perfect as I can easily edit them. Send them as is - see (contact me above). They are best I am more than happy to receive them and update the site with better or more recent photos.
This web site is flagged PRIVATE and can only be viewed with a visitor's password. We would be delighted if you share it with your family but we would ask you to be selective with non-members. Thanks go to all those who have taken the trouble to check out the site and send information and pictures. Dave and I hope you enjoy discovering our fascinating history. We look forward to hearing from you!
